Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities: 

Reporting to Manager of Staffing Efficiency, this role will be responsible for providing analysis, results, and recommendations to operations, leadership, and budget teams utilizing planning and forecasting software. 

  • Monitor system-wide staffing levels for all Piedmont Ground Handling locations
  • Complete staffing forecasts and comparison analysis reports for Piedmont stations on a regular basis
  • Conduct annual budget staffing forecasts
  • Responsible for maintaining and configuring planning software model databases
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of intraday processes, planning, and reporting

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, requirements gathering, data warehousing, and general software development
  • Ability to navigate systems, access data, reconcile numbers from different sources, identify discrepancies, and understand drivers of change within data
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adept at learning new software and reporting tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Positive attitude a must
  • Ability to travel - Generally 25%

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • College degree preferred
  • Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Certification preferred
  • Previous airline ground operations experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access, OneNote, SharePoint
  • Experience in scheduling analysis, interpreting forecasts, and process improvement
  • Experience in real-time management processes and tools
  • Experience in forecasting/staff planning
  • Experience with SQL or experience in relational database design

Work Environment:      

  • Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment
  • Some travel is required

 Physical Requirements:    

Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
