Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

The Regional Manager shall oversee and have direct responsibility for a number of Full Service Southeast Division Stations and will work closely with the Division Director and the other Southeast Division Regional Manager to support the division in order to safely meet all company goals. Provide 24/7 comprehensive management oversight, communication and support to each GM/Station in order to meet company goals, customer expectations, operate safely, achieve 100% compliance, care for our employees, achieve scorecard goals, meet budget expectations, achieve passing scores on all audits, ensure compliance with the CWA Contract and maintain a cordial and effective working relationship with the CWA Shop Steward, CWA Leadership and CWA members. Visit each station a minimum of 3 times a year or more if needed. Manage Special Projects (Examples: Division Budget Preparation, Facilitate and Lead the Master’s Golf Event, Manage the opening of new stations, etc.) This position involves extensive travel. Other duties as assigned.  

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstrated “goal-met” leadership in the areas of Safety, Scorecard, Employee Relations, Customer Service, ICM, Audits, Budgets, and Regulatory Compliance (or equivalent)

• Proven, safe and successful General Manager leadership experience at a Full Service Station (or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, Business, or a related field, or at least two years of Piedmont Ground Handling General Manager leadership experience at a Full Service Station

Work Environment:

  • Airport environment (all areas) subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
  • Be available 24/7 when not on vacation
  • Be available to work weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts if necessary
  • Frequent travel is required

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to perform the physical functions carried out by PGH General Managers
