Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain thorough and accurate files and documentation for aircraft maintenance planning using maintenance software. Make daily schedule adjustments for aircrafts to ensure efficient routings covering the daily flight operations minimizing delays and cancellations and still maintaining aircraft for RON maintenance bases. Coordinates with maintenance bases for balancing of workload versus manpower availability. Review daily reports to ensure that Piedmont aircraft fleet meet short- and long-term scheduling of all aircraft maintenance. Coordinates with multiple departments to ensure aircraft are available and aircraft records are current. Ensure compliance with all federal regulations and company policies and procedures. Ability to work well independently and in a team environment. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:     

  • Must be extremely detailed oriented and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Teamwork oriented attitude to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:        

  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Microsoft office software experience

Work Environment:      

  • Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment
  • Work weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts


Physical Requirements:     

Moderate physical activity, stooping, bending, kneeling.  Handle objects up to 50 pounds occasionally.
