Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
This entry-level position will support the Human Resources, Recruiting, and the Shared Services Organization Groups. The successful candidate will respond to HR questions, review backgrounds, and review new hire paperwork. Also will ensure accurate database entry of all new hired employees. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
• Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently meeting specified deadlines
• Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
• Advanced ability with Microsoft Office
• Excellent writing and speaking skills
• Flexible schedule
• Excellent attendance record
• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:
• Current Piedmont employee with a minimum six months of service

Work Environment:
• Standard office environment. Use of computers and other office equipment
• Limited travel is required

Physical Requirements:
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
