Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Managers must keep both the company goals and customer expectations in mind. Serve as primary liaison with American Airlines corporate real estate team and airport authorities throughout the network. Oversee projects, vendors, contractors and facility staff. Ensure building codes and regulations are met, includes maintaining proper documentation. Administrate duties may include daily/weekly/month reports. Extensive travel required. Other duties as assigned.

This Position can be base in Charlotte, NC Or Philadelphia, PA

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • General construction knowledge
  • Project management experience
  • Previous management experience
  • Team oriented
  • Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of AOA environment
  • 5 years ‘ experience in project management
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Advanced time management and analytical skills
  • Major building construction experience
  • PMP certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field

Work Environment:

  • Airport ramp environment, weather variations, and elevated noise levels
  • Work weekends, nights, holidays and /or irregular shifts as needed

Physical Requirements:

Frequent stooping, bending, walking, occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs
