Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

This entry level, part time position will assist the safety department with daily administrative tasks. 

Primary Duty Summary:

  • Manage departmental travel plans and hotel bookings
  • Coordinate departmental meetings
  • Develop and distribute departmental reports
  • Manage website page
  • Input information in to databases including WBAT, access and SharePoint
  • Take and publish meeting minutes
  • Greet and assist employees at the front door
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned, in order to achieve departmental and company safety objectives to include presentations and statistical reports
  • Other administrative duties as necessary

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment
  • Advanced computer skills to include, QIK, MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently meeting specified deadlines
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills
  • Flexible schedule
  • Excellent attendance record
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of basic airport procedures
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, or other related field


Work Environment:

  • Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment

Physical Requirements:

Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds
