Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 
Responsible for fuel inventory reporting and reconciliation on the accounting side. Ability to read and analyze inventory reports in a variety of formats. Verify fuel received and enplaned between station and vendor reporting, communicate with station to make sure all discrepancies get reconciled with the vendor, and process fuel invoices in fuel system for each assigned city, ensuring accuracy. Balance accounts monthly with fuel vendors on the accounting side and accurately explain any variances in fuel inventory. Process invoices for service costs, ensuring accuracy. Present monthly reconciliations to the manager for review. Mandatory schedule is necessary for completion of end-of-month processing, first four business days of each month. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: 
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fast and accurate typing skills
• Above average skills with Microsoft Office with emphasis on spreadsheet and database entry/report retrieval
• Knowledge of accounting practices and inventory control
• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications: 
• Associate Degree in Accounting, Mathematics, other related field, or relevant work experience.

Work Environment: 
• Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment

Physical Requirements: 
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
